Advanced Metals Forming Machine
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Langley Research Center is seeking quotes for an Advanced Metals Forming Machine System to meet requirements outlined in an attached Statement of Work. Vendors must be able to provide a machine capable of spin forming, flow forming, and necking-in forming of parts up to 24 inches in diameter and 36 inches in length, meeting technical specifications for forces, speeds, programmability, and optional capabilities. Quotes are due by November 14, 2019 and must include the solicitation number, and will be evaluated based on technical merit, past performance, and price.
There is no set-aside designated for this procurement. The machine must be delivered within one year of award with preliminary designs due within 60 days, final designs within 90 days. The place of performance is the NASA Langley Research Center located at 1 Nasa Dr, Hampton, VA 23666. Vendors must be able to meet the technical specifications and delivery schedule, and provide references and descriptions of past contract work for consideration. NASA LaRC intends to award a purchase order on a best value basis.

The PHNSY & IMF seeks a contractor to disassemble, transport, install above ground foundation kit, reassemble, and recalibrate a Muratec M5000 CNC Plasma Punch Press to full operational condition.
It is the Government’s intent that a single primary contractor be awarded this contract and be responsible for the provision of equipment, and the accomplishment of all work detailed by this specification. The contractor shall perform to the standards in this contract. Additional details and specifications can be found in the attached draft PWS.
This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary. The government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is a U.S. Navy regional industrial center that maintains overhauls, and repairs vessels of the U.S. Navy.
