NIGP 85088: Toweling: Crash (Cup), Huck, and Terry (Includes Dish Towels and Cloths)

NIGP 85088 Toweling: Crash (Cup), Huck, and Terry (Includes Dish Towels and Cloths) is an Item code under which state and local governments procure absorbent cloth products for food service, janitorial, and general facility operations. The code covers disposable and reusable toweling in multiple weaves and constructions — crash towels (low-cost single-ply), huck towels (durable multi-ply), and terry towels (high-absorbency looped weave) — along with dish towels and related cloth goods used across schools, hospitals, municipal buildings, and dining facilities. State and local buyers under this code range from school districts and county facilities to city public works departments and state institutional operations, all of which rely on reliable supply of cost-effective toweling for routine kitchen, restroom, and operational cleaning. The toweling market in state and local procurement typically involves straightforward purchase orders or blanket agreements, with suppliers competing primarily on unit cost, bulk availability, and delivery timeliness rather than specialized performance attributes.

The source provides no recent state or local contract opportunities or issuing bodies currently soliciting under NIGP 85088, and therefore does not support characterization of geographic spread, representative recent solicitations, or active buyer patterns at this time.
