NIGP 84050: Studio Equipment: Furnishings, Record and Tape Storage Cabinets, Tables, etc.

NIGP 84050 Studio Equipment: Furnishings, Record And Tape Storage Cabinets, Tables, Etc., an Item code, encompasses storage furniture and workstations that state and local governments procure for operational spaces — including cabinets, tables, and related furnishings used in studios, law enforcement facilities, and other administrative or technical environments. Recent solicitations show public bodies acquiring these items as part of broader equipment and facility outfitting initiatives, often bundled within cooperative purchasing frameworks that allow multiple jurisdictions to leverage common terms.

The code draws activity from state-level cooperative purchasing organizations, counties, and law enforcement agencies across multiple states. Sourcewell, a Minnesota local government unit and service cooperative, posted RFP #061626 on May 12, 2026 (due June 16, 2026) to establish a law enforcement equipment contracting solution available to participating entities including Franklin County, Grant County, Grays Harbor County, Chelan County, and Yakima County in Washington, along with thousands of public agencies, school districts, tribal governments, and nonprofit organizations throughout the United States and Canada. The cooperative purchasing vehicle allows selected vendors to serve a broad spectrum of public sector customers under standardized contracting terms, with proposals submitted exclusively through the Sourcewell Procurement Portal. The solicitation does not identify specific award values, set-aside designations, or budget ranges in available documentation.
