NIGP 60097: Vacuum Machines (Specifically Designed for Office Equipment)

NIGP 60097 Vacuum Machines (Specifically Designed For Office Equipment), an Item code, covers specialized vacuum and cleaning equipment designed for office settings and similar controlled environments. The recent state and local opportunities posted under this code do not include solicitations targeting vacuum machines or office equipment cleaning devices; instead, the two most recent postings address law enforcement equipment and educational instructional resources across career technical education and advanced academics programs. This mismatch suggests either limited current procurement activity under the vacuum machines code or that recent opportunities are being categorized under broader or differently coded commodity classifications within state and local systems.

The source provides no recent opportunities explicitly soliciting vacuum machines designed for office use, and therefore does not support characterization of issuing-body mix, geographic concentration, or representative recent procurement activity under this Item code. State and local purchasing offices appear to be pursuing other commodity codes for similar cleaning or equipment needs at higher volume currently.
