NIGP 24570: Milking Machines, Accessories, and Parts: Compressors, Pulsators, etc.

NIGP 24570 Milking Machines, Accessories, And Parts: Compressors, Pulsators, Etc., an Item code, covers compressors, pulsators, and related mechanical equipment used in commercial dairy operations. State and local governments procure replacement components and systems to maintain agricultural facilities and support dairy extension or vocational programs housed within state departments of agriculture, county extension services, and regional agricultural centers. The code encompasses both standalone pulsation units and integrated subsystems that support milk collection infrastructure at state-operated or state-supported dairy facilities.

No recent state or local contract opportunities under this code appear in the source. Given the specialized nature of dairy-equipment procurement and the limited footprint of government-operated or government-supported dairy operations at the state and local level, activity under NIGP 24570 is episodic rather than routine, making sustained market monitoring impractical for most vendors outside dairy-heavy agricultural states or regions with significant cooperative extension dairy programs.
