NIGP 03560: Instruments and Testers, Airplane

NIGP 03560 Instruments and Testers, Airplane is an Item code that does not reflect state and local procurement activity in the recent opportunities available for analysis. The single substantive record in the current dataset—City of Peoria, Arizona RFP P260037 for pre-employment psychological screening of public safety candidates—falls entirely outside the scope of aircraft instruments and testing equipment; it solicits psychological evaluation services for police and civilian staff applicants. The Williamson County record is a facilities relocation notice with no procurement content. No state or local jurisdictions are currently soliciting aircraft instruments, testers, or related maintenance and diagnostic tools under this code.

This code appears dormant in the state and local procurement market at present. Absence of activity does not indicate future procurement intent. Firms pursuing this code should monitor state departments of transportation, aviation authorities managing municipal or regional airports, and state-operated aircraft maintenance facilities, as these are the most likely issuing bodies for aircraft instruments and testing equipment. Geographic spread cannot be characterized from current opportunities.
