UNSPSC 25191520: Environmental test chamber

An device that simulates pressure and other high altitude conditions for the purpose of training and psychological testing of aircraft personnel.

UNSPSC 25191520 Environmental test chamber (Commodity) does not align with recent state and local procurement activity under this code. The two most recent opportunities posted under this code are a relocation notice from Williamson County Purchasing Department in Texas (which contains no procurement scope) and a pre-employment psychological screening RFP from the City of Peoria, Arizona (which solicits psychological evaluation services for public safety candidates, entirely outside the environmental testing equipment domain). The source provides no evidence of state and local governments actually procuring environmental test chambers—climate chambers, thermal chambers, or related laboratory equipment—under this code in the current market.

Without documented recent opportunities for environmental test chambers from state agencies, counties, cities, school districts, or transit authorities, this code shows insufficient activity to support a pursue decision. The mismatch between the code's nominal scope and the posted opportunities suggests either miscoding at the point of solicitation or a genuine absence of current demand for this commodity class in the state and local market.
