NIGP 03175: Radiators, Heating

NIGP 03175 Radiators, Heating is an Item code encompassing radiator units and thermal-management equipment for industrial, fleet, and facility applications. State and local governments procure radiators primarily for industrial equipment cooling, fleet vehicle maintenance, and emergency-response infrastructure; recent solicitations show activity in replacement radiator units for port equipment and bulk coolant supply for fleet vehicle systems. Issuing bodies include county governments and county procurement alliances; the Sacramento County Procurement Alliance (SCOPA) cooperative-purchasing vehicle appears in recent activity, expanding the reach of county-level thermal-equipment procurement across multiple participating jurisdictions and non-profit entities.

Recent opportunities center on the Southeast and West Coast. Broward County (Florida) issued an Invitation to Bid (BLD2131679B1, closed June 26, 2026) for two Bearward Radiator units rated for ambient temperatures up to 50°C for a Paceco Crane at Port Everglades, with delivery required within 150 calendar days and local-business preference eligibility under Broward County Code Section 1-74. The County of Sacramento issued a Request for Bids (2025RFB0026, closed February 20, 2026) for bulk red antifreeze/coolant supply and delivery on an as-needed basis for fleet vehicles, with estimated annual spend of approximately $30,000, local and micro-business preference incentives, and availability to SCOPA participating entities. Both opportunities required firm-fixed pricing, delivery to specified sites, and compliance with insurance, environmental, and regulatory standards including hazardous-materials handling.
