NIGP 02258: Implement Parts for Other Farm Equipment

NIGP 02258 Implement Parts For Other Farm Equipment is an Item code covering replacement and component parts for agricultural equipment used by state and local governments. State and local procurement activity under this code reflects the buying patterns of jurisdictions with grounds maintenance, agricultural operations, or fleet-management functions that depend on farm equipment — typically state departments of transportation or natural resources, county road maintenance operations, and municipal parks and grounds departments. The scope of work centers on sourcing implement parts such as blades, tines, hitches, hydraulic components, and wear items for plows, cultivators, mowers, spreaders, and similar equipment used in road maintenance, land management, and infrastructure upkeep.

The most recent state and local contract opportunities posted under or near this code do not include active procurements for implement parts. A Williamson County Purchasing Department notice dated July 14, 2026, announces a relocation to Georgetown, Texas and contains no procurement scope. A Garland Independent School District RFP posted May 21, 2026, solicits instructional materials and testing supplies rather than farm equipment components. No recent active solicitations for implement parts appear in the available opportunity records, suggesting limited procurement velocity under this code in the current quarter or that opportunities may be dispersed across smaller jurisdictions and posted through channels outside the monitored sources.
