The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation awarded The Boeing Company an Indefinite Delivery Contract worth up to $274 million to provide performance-based logistics and sustainment support for Boeing-designed aircraft. The contract has a period of performance through June 2027.
Under the contract, Boeing will deliver spare parts, perform maintenance, engineering services, and technical support for the F/A-18 aircraft. The contract covers approximately 2,919 national stock numbers of consumable items and depot-level repair material. Boeing, as the original equipment manufacturer, will leverage its technical expertise and data to support the fleet. The contract requires Boeing to meet supply chain performance metrics for material availability and fulfill all repair requirements at government depots. The contract is a follow-on to Boeing's existing Captains of Industry contract with DLA Aviation, which serves as the primary vehicle for a wide range of DLA procurements.
