About this IDV

The Research Enabling Procurement for Aerospace Systems (REPAS) IDV was awarded by the Department of the Air Force to Arctos Technology Solutions, LLC to deliver research and development services supporting propulsion, power, and thermal management technologies. Under the $96M ceiling value IDV, five cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery orders have been awarded to Arctos totaling $41.9M to provide systems analysis, structures and fuels research, high speed development, and turbomachinery work. Services are performed at Air Force facilities and Arctos' Ohio locations through 2024.

The original solicitation sought proposals for an IDIQ to advance affordable, manufacturable technologies with digital traceability and capabilities for propulsion/power/thermal management. Evaluations considered technical merit, management approach, and cost to award up to two contracts supporting six initial task orders. The REPAS program aims to mature components, subsystems, and testing to ready technologies for operational use. Under the IDV and associated orders, Arctos provides specialized engineering, modeling, simulation, and analysis to support the Air Force's aircraft, engine, and energy goals.
