The Department of Education's Office of Planning Evaluation and Policy Development awarded a multiple award blanket purchase agreement to Research Triangle Institute to provide data analytics and evaluation support services. The master BPA has a potential value of $60 million and a period of performance through September 2026. Two task orders have been issued against the BPA to date, with values of $1.4 million and $594,567 respectively, to support internal and external analyses, reports, and digital products pertaining to education from preschool through grade 12, postsecondary, and adult and career education. Performance will take place in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Specifically, one task order involves technical support for internal and external analyses, reports, and digital products to inform policymaking for programs authorized by the Elementary and Secondary Education Act and Higher Education Act. The other task order focuses on curating the agency's Comprehensive Data Inventory by gathering and recording metadata for included data assets. This metadata will support evaluation and analytical uses of the inventory. The BPA and associated task orders aim to provide data, research, and analytical services to inform the Education Department's evidence-based policy development and program oversight in the PK-12, postsecondary, and workforce spaces.
