THE PURPOSE OF THIS AWARD IS TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO THE WOR-WIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO RECRUIT AND ENROLL QUALIFIED STUDENTS IN THE COLLEGE?S COMMERCIAL DRIVER?S LICENSE PROGRAM. WOR-WIC COMMUNITY COLLEGE ANTICIPATES ENROLLING AT LEAST 17 STUDENTS WITH A TUITION COST OF $4,775. THE FMCSA APPROVES THE PROJECT PLAN AND BUDGET AT A REDUCED FUNDING AMOUNT FROM THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION. THE FMCSA IS RECOMMENDING A REDUCTION TOTALING $85,950 DUE TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING. THIS WILL ALLOW THE AGENCY TO FUND ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS AND TO GEOGRAPHICALLY DISPERSE AWARDS.
