THE PURPOSE OF THIS AWARD IS TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO THE STARK STATE COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY TO RECRUIT AND ENROLL QUALIFIED STUDENTS IN THE COLLEGE?S COMMERCIAL DRIVER?S LICENSE PROGRAM. STARK STATE COLLEGE OF TECHNOLOGY ANTICIPATES ENROLLING AT LEAST 12 STUDENTS WITH A TUITION COST OF $7,224. THE FMCSA APPROVES THE PROJECT PLAN AND BUDGET AT A REDUCED FUNDING AMOUNT FROM THE ORIGINAL APPLICATION. THE FMCSA IS RECOMMENDING A REDUCTION TOTALING $113,312 DUE TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDING. THIS WILL ALLOW THE AGENCY TO FUND ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS AND TO GEOGRAPHICALLY DISPERSE AWARDS.
