Description
More and more communities and businesses are working with private sector firms to obtain the climate services necessary to increase their adaptive capacity. IT is critical to ensure that companies develop these services using the very best, locally-relevant, publicly accessible climate data and information and simultaneously apply vetted principles, strategies, and approaches for quality climate adaptation practice. The american society of adaptation professionals' ("asap") climate service providers academy ("academy") is a cohort-based, virtual training that gives participants the tools they need to develop quality climate services and help them succeed in the rapidly evolving climate services marketplace. Asap piloted the academy in 2020 and 2021 and is now ready to execute a nationwide version
