Advertising & Marketing Program with the Boston Bruins
THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. This is a notice of intent to award a contract on sole source basis, by the Massachusetts Army National Guard (MAARNG) under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), with Delaware North Companies, Incorporated (better known as the Boston Bruins), 100 Legends Way, Boston, MA, 02114-1300, for the purchase of a recruiting and retention advertising & marketing program, for the period of 9/30/2019 - 09/29/2020. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541890- Other Services Related to Advertising, with a small business size standard of $15.0 million. MAARNG Recruiting and Retention Battalion (RRB) has a requirement to purchase a marketing and advertising program consisting of Bruins BFIT Performance Series, Bruins Website, Bruins Social Media Coverage, E-Mail, School Visit Video, and In-arena LED. The intent of this program is to collaborate with the Boston Bruins community outreach program designed to educate the Commonwealth on physical and mental fitness. This program will provide the MAARNG with greater access to the Boston Bruin's core demographic of 17-24 year olds while also provide better access to those influencers/mentors (parents, coaches, teachers, clergy, etc). These influencers/mentors are instrumental in shaping and guiding their proteges' future. This program is IAW the Director of the National Guard's Sports Marketing guidance, NGR 601-1 and requirements set forth in DoD Report to Congress - The Review of Sponsorships, Advertising, and Marketing Associated With Sports Related Organizations or Sporting Events. There are no other products / services available for purchase that would serve the same purpose or function with integration with the Boston Bruin's advertising and marketing program. A determination to compete this procurement based on a response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Interested parties that believe they could satisfy the requirements listed above for MAARNG may clearly and unambiguously identify their capability to do so in writing on or before the response date for this notice. This notice of intent is not a solicitation. Any questions regarding this notice must be submitted in writing via email to isao.hattori.civ@mail.mil. All responses to this notice of intent must be submitted by no later than September 11, 2019 at 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
