The total contract amount is an aggregate maximum $500,000,000 for the base period and four option periods. Guam Pacific International, LLC was awarded the first task order at $12,959,699 (CLINS 0006AA at $11,666,582; 0006AB at $28,900; 0006AC at $472,092; 0006AD at $251,068; 0006AE at $118,106; 0006AF at $148,907; and 0006AG at $274,044) to construct Combat Support Vehicle Maintenance Facility, Northwest Field, Andersen Air Force Base Guam. Work for this task order is expected to be completed by June 2011. The remaining five contractors were awarded the minimum guarantee of $25,000. Added: Sep 15, 2009 1:46 am This is a 100% Small Business set-aside source selection procurement. This procurement consists of one solicitation with the intent to award up to five indefinite delivery indefinite quantity design-build construction contracts. The Small Business Multiple Award Construction Contract is intended to provide design-build multiple award construction contracts for new construction, renovation/modernization, and routine repair/maintenance of Government shore-based facilities on Guam. The work under the contract will generally provide all design, labor, transportation, equipment, material, tools, supplies, engineering, supervision, and administration services needed to complete the scope of work. The facility types include, but are not limited to, operations and training facilities, maintenance and production facilities, supply facilities, hospital-medical facilities, administrative facilities, housing and community facilities and utilities and ground improvement. The work shall also include sampling, testing, removal and disposal of lead contaminated paint, asbestos and other hazardous materials. A Seed Project will be issued with the solicitation. One contract will be awarded with the Seed Project as the minimum guarantee to the best value Offeror. Up to four additional contracts will be awarded with a minimum guarantee of $25K each for the base period only. Offerors shall submit with their offer a bid bond in the amount of 20% of the total proposed price for the Seed Project. The contract term will be a base period and four option periods. Each period will consist of 12 months. The aggregate contract amount is the combined total of all awarded contracts for each respective period. The aggregate contract amounts will be $100M for the base period, $100M for the first option period, $100M for the second option period, $100M for the third option period, and $100M for the fourth option period. Total contract amount for all periods is $500M. Task orders will be between $1M - $15M. Award will be made to the responsible offerors whose proposals, conforming to the Request for Proposal, will be most advantageous representing the best value to the Government from a technical and price standpoint. Price will be based on the Seed Project. After award of the initial contracts, the awardees will compete for task orders based on either best value or low price technically acceptable to the Government. North American Industry Classification System code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the annual size standard is $33.5M.
