About the company

Youth Heartline is a nonprofit organization dedicated to child advocacy and family stability in Colfax, Taos, and Union Counties in New Mexico. Since 1991, they have been providing services to over 1,000 children, youth, and families each year, aiming to support victims and promote family stability.

Through recent federal grant sub-awards from the Crime Victims Reparation Commission in New Mexico, Youth Heartline has received funding to continue and expand its existing programs to serve victims in underserved groups and areas. These sub-awards support the continuation of three Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) staff positions and the addition of a staff advocate position for their Taos County CASA efforts, which train volunteers to support abused children in rural Taos and Colfax counties. The funding also maintains and expands their Community Group Enrichment Activities at Taos Pueblo and in Colfax County, introducing the One Circle Foundation curricula to schools in those areas. Additionally, Youth Heartline's Family Navigation Services, which increase family stability through access to resources, benefit navigation, and self-efficacy development, are continued at Taos Pueblo and extended to include a new Family Navigator staff position serving Colfax and Union Counties. Furthermore, the sub-awards enable Youth Heartline to provide trauma training to educators and those involved in the criminal justice system within their service area.
