About the company
Region A Partnership for Children (RAPC) is the Smart Start and NC Pre-K administrator for western North Carolina. RAPC administers early childhood funding and offers resources and assistance to child care centers and homes in the region.
RAPC has received numerous federal grant subawards from the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services to provide high quality pre-kindergarten services for eligible four-year-old children. The purpose of these awards is to enhance school readiness and yield better learning and development outcomes in kindergarten and beyond. Additional amendments and funding have been provided to realign performance requirements, increase reimbursement rates, support program administration, and provide teacher training stipends.
