About Northwest Tri County Intermediate Unit
Northwest Tri County Intermediate Unit is an Other Not For Profit Organization that provides strong support for students, schools, academic achievement, and various education programs in Pennsylvania. Through past prime and sub federal grants, Northwest Tri County Intermediate Unit has provided services including operating the Upward Bound Math and Science program to serve low-income, first-generation students; the Talent Search program to serve low-income, first-generation students; assisting young parents in obtaining a high school diploma; providing meals to children through the Summer Food Service Program; supporting special education services; supporting English language learners and migrant students; providing adult education and literacy programs; and assisting schools in improvement planning and capacity building.
