National Alumni Network

National Alumni Network is a non-profit organization focused on alumni outreach and engagement services for U.S. government sponsored exchange program alumni in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. The organization has been registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM.gov) to receive federal grants and cooperative agreements since 2019.

The federal award history shows National Alumni Network has received over $1 million in cooperative agreements and grants primarily from the U.S. Department of State bureaus of Educational and Cultural Affairs, and South and Central Asian Affairs. The federal funding has supported the organization's efforts to conduct alumni community outreach, coordination, engagement and provide small grants programs for U.S. sponsored exchange alumni across Kazakhstan and Central Asia. Specific services include facilitating national alumni coordination, administering alumni grants programs, collaborating with regional alumni, and conducting specialized programming like multi-day STEM camps for female alumni. The funding enables National Alumni Network to connect with alumni networks and implement programming that advances U.S. public diplomacy efforts and foreign policy objectives in the region through Department of State programs like Educational and Cultural Exchange Programs and Public Diplomacy Programs.
