About the company
Ivrop Imperial Valley Regional is a U.S. local government entity and school district registered in SAM.gov since July 2004, operating in El Centro, California. The organization serves as the Imperial Valley Regional Occupational Program (IVROP) and provides federal grant-funded educational and workforce development services primarily to high school students and young adults in Imperial County, California. As a government entity focused on career and technical education, IVROP delivers evidence-informed programming designed to equip students with essential life, relationship, and economic skills necessary for successful transitions to adulthood and employment.
IVROP's recent federal grant work reflects a comprehensive approach to youth development across multiple funding streams and partner agencies. Most significantly, the organization received a $1,000,000 five-year Cooperative Agreement from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Administration for Children and Families under the Healthy Marriage Promotion and Responsible Fatherhood Grants program (CFDA 93.086), which commenced in September 2025. Through this prime award for the READYFORLIFE program, IVROP will provide evidence-informed workshops on healthy relationships, marriage education, emotional regulation, financial literacy, and job readiness to approximately 1,720 high school students in grades 9-12 through in-school curriculum, booster sessions, peer mentoring, and paid work experience opportunities. Additionally, IVROP has been a sub-awardee under the State of California Department of Education for career and technical education initiatives, receiving sub-grants in March 2024 and August 2024 designed to develop the academic, career, and technical skills of secondary and postsecondary students. The organization has also partnered with the California Employment Development Department, receiving sub-grant funding in April 2022 for employment support programs (ESP PY 21-22). Collectively, these awards demonstrate IVROP's consistent role as a regional provider of integrated workforce development, career technical education, and youth mentoring services within a rural border community characterized by high unemployment and limited youth development resources.
