About Family Aids Caring Trust
Family Aids Caring Trust (FACT) is a Zimbabwe-based, Christian organization that works to improve health and reduce poverty for those affected by HIV/AIDS. As a foreign owned non-profit focused on community development, FACT provides health services, education, and support to vulnerable populations through US federal grants.
FACT has received two prime awards totaling over $48 million from 2022-2027 under USAID's cooperative agreements. These awards support HIV prevention, care and treatment for at-risk groups like adolescents and OVC in Zimbabwe. As a sub awardee, FACT has delivered HIV/AIDS services through partners like Population Services International and Family Health International. Their sub awards have funded integration of HIV prevention into sexual and reproductive health programs, care and treatment for key populations, retention in HIV care initiatives, and maternal, newborn, and child health activities. The federal grants funding FACT's work have aimed to mitigate the impacts of HIV/AIDS and accelerate progress towards epidemic control in Zimbabwe.
