About the company

Chicago International Social Change Film Festival (CISCFF), doing business as Social Change, is a minority and Black American owned non-profit organization committed to liberation, disrupting systems, and turning protest into progress. Through its film festival ChangeFest, CISCFF uses art, music, film, fashion and entertainment to inspire social change.

CISCFF has received multiple federal grant subawards from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to participate in the RISE Vaccine Equity Challenge as a "Pacesetter Community Coalition". This 10-month program run by the Public Health Institute assists communities in improving health and vaccine equity for marginalized groups. As a subrecipient, CISCFF has designed and implemented multi-level interventions utilizing Rise support systems in at least three areas: vaccine equity, mental well-being, physical well-being, social well-being and spiritual well-being within underserved communities. CISCFF participates in Rise activities through this CDC grant funding.
