About Campus Compact
Campus Compact is a national coalition of colleges and universities dedicated to advancing the public purposes of higher education. Through federal grants, Campus Compact has provided a range of services focused on national service, education, capacity building, and environmental stewardship.
Specifically, Campus Compact has received over $5 million in prime federal grants from the Corporation for National and Community Service's AmeriCorps program to fund national service positions and planning efforts, as well as an environmental education project grant from the Environmental Protection Agency. As a prime grantee, Campus Compact has used AmeriCorps funding to recruit, train, and oversee AmeriCorps members to address community needs related to education and capacity building.
