All 77 awards in the recent portfolio were Cooperative Agreements. The CDC obligated $311.9 million in federal dollars across these grants, with a combined federal and non-federal total of $316.5 million. Awards ranged from under $500 thousand to over $30 million; representative recipients included North Carolina (Community Transformation Grant, $22.4 million), Texas (Category B Implementation, $30 million), South Carolina (Community Transformation Grant and National Dissemination Support, $13.3 million), and multiple county and tribal jurisdictions receiving capacity-building awards in the $1.5 million range. The program concentrated funding on public health departments, counties, and tribal organizations.
