About this program

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development funds the Community Development Block Grant–PRICE Competition (Assistance Listing 14.024) to preserve and revitalize manufactured housing communities and assist in redevelopment as replacement affordable housing, with the most recent grant awards issued January 15–16, 2025.

Eligible applicants include States, units of general local government, Indian Tribes, resident-owned manufactured housing communities, cooperatives, nonprofit entities and consortia, community development financial institutions (CDFIs), and other entities approved by HUD. Activities must align with the HUD Consolidated Plan, require environmental review, and are subject to rigorous compliance recordkeeping for four years post-completion across eligibility, financial management, equal opportunity, labor standards, and other program regulations.

Representative recipients include projects funded under grant numbers B23PR110002 ($38.1 million), B23PR210001 ($28.3 million), and B23PR510002 ($29.2 million), though specific scope or recipient detail is not available from the awards data.
