About this opportunity

Oakland County's Water Resources Commissioner (WRC) is seeking proposals for a contract to procure LMI Milton Roy pumps and parts on an as-needed basis for 2025 and 2026. The procurement is being managed by the Oakland County Purchasing Division and will support the WRC's critical water infrastructure operations, which serve 22 local municipalities and manage stormwater, drinking water, and wastewater services. Vendors are required to submit a comprehensive catalog pricing list for 2025 and 2026, with the ability to provide quotes for additional items not initially included. The bid evaluation will be weighted across three primary criteria: price (50%), normal delivery after receipt of order (40%), and pickup location (10%). Proposals must be submitted exclusively through the Michigan Inter-governmental Trade Network (MITN) online system by May 15, 2025, with quoted prices remaining firm for 120 days. Vendors must provide complete documentation, including catalog pricing, delivery timeframes, and potential government discounts.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were explicitly mentioned in the solicitation documents. Vendors must comply with various legal requirements, including registration with the E-Verify Program and certification as not being an "Iran Linked Business". The contract will be awarded with FOB Destination terms to the WRC Pump Maintenance facility in Waterford, Michigan, with potential for additional delivery locations. While no specific budget range was provided, the procurement suggests a flexible, ongoing contract for pump and parts acquisition. Successful bidders will be required to provide documentation of required insurance and potentially submit a completed Federal W-9 form prior to contract award. Oakland County reserves the right to accept or reject any responses, split awards among multiple vendors, request additional information, and conduct interviews or reference checks throughout the procurement process.
