About this opportunity

The City-County Information Technology Commission (CCITC), serving Marathon County, the City of Wausau, and North Central Health Care, is seeking a Workday Implementation Consultant through a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The procurement aims to secure a consulting resource to support an ongoing Workday implementation project, with responsibilities spanning organizational change and training (OC&T), communications, and software configuration. The ideal consultant will possess extensive Workday-specific experience and provide approximately 70-80 hours of support per month for 6-8 months, with flexibility to adjust hours based on project needs. Proposals are due by 4:00 p.m. CDT on March 29, 2022, with an evaluation period from March 29 through April 7, 2022. The evaluation criteria will be weighted as follows: 40% on fit with requirements, 40% on record of performance on similar projects, 10% on cost, and 10% on project approach and proposed schedule. The Workday implementation is scheduled for go-live in January 2023, with the consulting engagement expected to conclude by winter/spring 2023. Proposals must be submitted via email to Troy Krezine and include an executive overview, candidate resumes, detailed requirement explanations, corporate background, financial information, customer references, and any exceptions to the RFP.

The RFP does not specify any specific set-aside designations or restrictions on responding organizations. The CCITC prefers to contract with a single consultant who can remain engaged throughout the project duration and will be fully remote with no onsite requirements. While no specific budget range is explicitly stated, the RFP indicates that respondents must provide itemized and total costs for proposed services, with detailed time reporting required in monthly invoices. The organization reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and will evaluate candidates based primarily on individual skills and relevant experience rather than organizational background. All submitted proposals will become subject to Wisconsin's Open Records Law and will be public record upon contract award. The CCITC is seeking specialized Workday implementation expertise to complement existing project management and analyst staff, with a focus on securing a consultant who can provide targeted support across multiple implementation dimensions.
