About this opportunity

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind (FSDB) has withdrawn Invitation to Bid (ITB) #ITB-23-073 for the procurement of linen products, including bedclothes, blankets, sheets, pillowcases, and bedspreads. FSDB has determined that the conditions of the solicitation documents were not complied with, and it has rejected the response and withdrawn the ITB and all scheduled activities effective immediately. The primary contacts for any questions related to this withdrawal are Kim Whitwam, Director of Purchasing, and Leigh Gillette, Contract Administrator. The protest procedures are outlined, stating that a notice of protest must be submitted to FSDB in writing within 72 hours of the Notification of Intent to Award, and a formal written protest must be submitted within 10 days after the date the notice of protest is filed. The protest procedure shall be governed by Florida Statutes 120.57(3) and may require the payment of a Protest Bond.

The withdrawal of this ITB does not appear to have any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The document does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors, nor does it provide any information about existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration. The award value or budget range for the withdrawn ITB is also not specified.
