About this opportunity
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) is seeking bids for the procurement of 12,000 channel catfish needed for lake planting within the state of Washington. The catfish must meet specific minimum requirements regarding size, handling, water quality, and health certifications. WDFW will pick up the catfish from vendors within Washington State or 700 road miles of Spokane, WA by the required delivery date of June 21, 2024. Vendors are required to submit copies of their Washington State Aquatic Registration, NPDES permits, pathogen-free water supply documentation, and health inspection records. Bids are due by June 3, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
The RFQ indicates that WDFW will award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bid from a Small Business or Veteran-Owned Business, if available. Payment terms are net 30 days upon satisfactory receipt of the goods. Vendors must be registered in the Statewide Vendor Payment System prior to submitting invoices. This is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, with no guarantee of additional orders beyond the initial 12,000 catfish.
