About this opportunity

The Idaho Department of Administration, Division of Purchasing, on behalf of the Idaho State Veterans Home in Pocatello, is requesting quotes for washers and dryers under RFQ Event 1455, with quotes due October 13, 2026. Award will be made to the lowest responsible bidder as defined by Idaho Code.

The scope covers commercial-grade washing machines and dryers specified in Exhibits A and B, respectively. Equipment must be new, unused, and include all manufacturer-standard components and accessories necessary for complete operation. Bidders must complete Exhibit C (price sheet) with unit costs and total pricing for equipment supply, delivery, and installation at the Pocatello facility. The Idaho State Veterans Home will evaluate submissions based on price, product quality, equipment specifications, and vendor qualifications.

The contract will be governed by the State of Idaho Contract Terms and Conditions (2026). The initial contract term commences on the effective date and expires on the service end date identified in the contract header, with renewal provisions allowing periods equal to the initial term or as mutually agreed, provided total contract duration does not exceed five years including all renewals. Pricing is fixed during the initial term and any renewal periods unless the Purchasing Authority accepts a written price increase supported by evidence of unforeseeable cost increases beyond the contractor's control.

For statewide contracts, contractors must remit an administrative fee of 1.25 percent based on net quarterly sales to the Division of Purchasing along with quarterly usage reports. The contractor bears all responsibility for shipping, delivery, installation costs, and risk of loss until state acceptance. All bids are firm for ninety days after the scheduled closing date unless otherwise specified. Prices must be submitted in U.S. Dollars and are subject to public disclosure under Idaho Public Records Law. Vendors may designate specific technical or proprietary information as exempt if properly marked on a page-by-page basis with a corresponding list provided separately.
