About this opportunity

The state of Georgia, specifically Liberty County, is conducting an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) for an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) procurement, identified by Contract Opportunity ID 680645d2e4a633d1c50fd132. The solicitation seeks to establish a contract with qualified suppliers to provide AED equipment, likely for Valdosta State University (VSU). The procurement is being executed under the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50), with the primary objective of selecting one or more suppliers to provide specified goods. The eRFQ process will involve gathering and evaluating supplier responses, with preliminary results to be publicly announced, including participating supplier names and evaluation outcomes. Key dates for this procurement include a posting date of April 18, 2025, and a response due date of May 9, 2025. The evaluation will assess supplier qualifications, responsiveness to requirements, and potential ability to meet the state entity's needs for AED equipment.

While specific set-aside designations or disadvantaged enterprise requirements are not explicitly detailed in the provided documentation, the solicitation appears open to qualified suppliers. The procurement does not indicate restrictions on vendor type or specific enterprise classifications. No incumbent vendors or existing technological infrastructure requirements are mentioned in the available information. The document lacks specific budget ranges or precise award values for the AED procurement. The solicitation suggests the potential for multiple awards, indicating the state may select more than one supplier to fulfill the AED equipment requirements. The procurement appears focused on establishing a contract for supplying AED equipment, with an emphasis on competitive selection through a comprehensive evaluation process that will consider supplier qualifications and response details.
