Video Scoreboard for Starr's Mill High School (RFP 24-024-007)

The Fayette County Public Schools (FCPS) in Georgia is soliciting proposals through a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the provision and installation of a video scoreboard at Starr's Mill High School. The RFP outlines detailed specifications for the video scoreboard, including dimensions, display, and control system requirements. Respondents must submit a separate cost proposal, along with various documents such as letters of recommendation, business capability information, and insurance certificates. The evaluation committee will review the proposals and may conduct interviews before making a recommendation for award. The contract term is from the time of award through December 31, 2024, with no option to renew. The RFP was released on March 11, 2024, with respondent questions due by March 25, 2024, and proposals due by 10:00 AM EST on April 10, 2024. The anticipated project start is either June 2024 or December 2024.

The RFP does not appear to include any set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The Notice of Intent to Award indicates that three respondents, Formetco Sports, Digital Scoreboards, LLC, and Daktronics, submitted proposals, with Digital Scoreboards, LLC being the selected respondent with a total projected cost of $304,690. There is no mention of an incumbent vendor or existing infrastructure that requires integration.
