The procurement includes provisions for Minority/Small Local Business Enterprise (WMBE/SLBE) participation, with several supporting documents outlining good faith efforts and compliance guidelines for subcontractor inclusion. The project budget is estimated at $32,250, with the contract allowing for unilateral extensions up to three additional 30-day periods. The solicitation includes specific diversity management requirements, such as breaking down work into economically feasible portions and offering assistance with bonding and insurance to smaller businesses. Notably, the procurement targets businesses owned by Black, Hispanic, Asian, Native American, and Women Business Enterprises across various industry categories, with a focus on creating opportunities for underutilized business segments in the veterinary and professional services domain.
