About this opportunity
The Central Florida Tourism Oversight District is soliciting bids for Vacuum Truck Cleaning Services at the South Service Area through Bid #C007029, with a submission deadline of March 4, 2026, via the PlanetBids vendor portal. The District operates a 20 million gallon per day Water Resource Recovery Facility and a Solid Waste Transfer Station located at South Service Lane, Lake Buena Vista, Florida, and seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive tank cleaning, wet well cleaning, hydro excavation, line jetting cleanout, decontamination services, and environmental cleanup. The successful contractor must supply all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to remove sewage, grease, sediment, and debris; operate equipment in confined space environments; perform decontamination services related to sanitary sewer spills or overflows; and diagnose and remove obstructions through jetting and line clearing. Critical requirements include qualified, trained equipment operators; all necessary safety equipment and supplies; CCTV/video inspection capabilities; and proper disposal of all contaminated materials at an approved off-property facility, which the contractor must identify in their bid submittal. All field personnel must possess current OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications. The bid flyer does not specify evaluation criteria, pricing terms, contract duration, renewal options, or award values.
The District indicates that bid preferences are available for local vendors, veteran small businesses, and opportunity zone businesses on most solicitations, though specific set-aside designations or restrictions for this particular solicitation are not detailed in the available documentation. No incumbent vendors, current contractors, or existing integrated technology systems are identified in the solicitation materials. Vendor registration on the PlanetBids platform is free and required to submit bids and inquiries, though interested parties may view solicitation documents without registration. The District encourages vendor registration to receive notifications of future bid invitations and notes partnerships with other governmental entities that may provide access to additional contracting opportunities. Contract award values, budget ranges, and specific timeline information for questions, responses, site visits, or bidders' meetings have not been disclosed in the announcement materials.
