About this opportunity
The University of West Georgia (UWG) is seeking qualified suppliers through an electronic Request for Quotes (eRFQ) to establish a contract for HVAC filter and belt procurement. The solicitation, issued under the State Purchasing Act, aims to secure cost-effective pricing through bulk purchasing of filters and belts for approximately 53 closely located sites. The primary objectives include obtaining competitive pricing and enhancing labor efficiency by requiring vendors to label and deliver filter and belt kits directly to specified buildings. Potential suppliers will be evaluated based on their ability to meet the detailed specifications outlined in the Scope of Work, with a focus on comprehensive kit preparation and delivery capabilities. The procurement process will involve a comprehensive review of submitted responses, with preliminary results to be publicly announced after evaluation. The eRFQ was posted on February 6, 2025, with responses due by March 6, 2025, providing potential vendors approximately one month to prepare and submit their quotes.
While the document does not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or vendor restrictions, the procurement appears to be open to qualified suppliers who can meet the technical and logistical requirements. The contract seeks to establish agreements with one or more suppliers, suggesting a potential multi-vendor award approach. No specific budget range or award value is directly stated in the provided documentation. The solicitation indicates a structured evaluation process that will consider supplier responses and potentially resolve any contract exceptions before final award. The procurement is specifically for the University of West Georgia and will be conducted in accordance with state purchasing regulations. Interested vendors should carefully review the full eRFQ documentation to understand the complete requirements and evaluation criteria for this HVAC filter and belt procurement opportunity.
