About this opportunity
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Coastal Fisheries Division is requesting bids on UV sterilizer components for Sea Center Texas under IFB, with bids due July 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time. The procurement is for replacement equipment with a single-source specification: 120 replacement 95-Watt UV lamps (ALA-95ST), 60 quartz sleeves (UV-QTZ-Q95T), and 70 plug assemblies (UV-PLUG-ASSM-1), all compatible with Aqualogic Corona ALSV models or TPWD-approved equivalents. The specifications are advertised as proprietary under Texas Government Code Section 2155.067; competing vendors may submit alternative products with documentation demonstrating compliance.
Bidders must provide unit pricing for each line item with all freight charges included, FOB destination prepaid and allowed. Delivery timeline must be stated in calendar days from receipt of order; bids specifying no delivery time default to 14 calendar days, and unrealistic delivery promises may result in disqualification. All items must be new, unused equipment covered by manufacturer's standard warranty — no remanufactured or gray-market items are acceptable. TPWD reserves the right to increase or decrease quantities prior to award based on bid results and budget constraints.
Bids are binding for 60 business days from the due date. Award will be made on a best-value basis considering price, qualifications, delivery schedule, and past performance. The contract commences upon issuance of a purchase order and expires upon delivery and final acceptance. Upon delivery, products must pass acceptance inspection within five working days. Payment will be made within 30 days of receipt of properly prepared invoices or acceptance of goods, whichever is later. Bids must be submitted by email to patty.cardoza@tpwd.texas.gov or delivered in person to TPWD-Coastal Fisheries, 302 Medical Drive, Lake Jackson, Texas 77566. No pre-bid conference or site visit is scheduled.
