About this opportunity
The University System of Georgia (USG) Board of Regents issued an electronic Request for Qualified Contractors (eRFQC) on November 9, 2021, with a deadline of December 9, 2021, to identify qualified suppliers for well-being services vendor designation. This procurement seeks one or more responsible vendors to provide comprehensive well-being services to approximately 60,000 eligible USG employees and spouses throughout Georgia. The selected vendor(s) must deliver best-in-class management and delivery of well-being services across multiple modalities and sites, providing education, activities, challenges, onsite programming, coaching, and innovative programming addressing the full spectrum of health determinants including physical, emotional, financial, social, and environmental wellness. Required qualifications include demonstrated expertise and experience in developing, implementing, delivering, and evaluating programs and services that promote healthy behaviors and improved health outcomes, with the capability to work cooperatively with existing health plan vendors and other benefits providers. The successful offeror must demonstrate ability to design and deliver innovative programming and services through various high-tech and traditional delivery mechanisms. It is important to note that this eRFQC will not result in immediate contract award but will instead establish a list of qualified suppliers eligible to participate in winning future contracts from the State Entity.
The procurement documentation does not specify set-aside designations or restrictions limiting organizational eligibility to respond to this solicitation. Virgin Pulse is identified as the current well-being services vendor, and prospective offerors are directed to https://benefits.usg.edu for information regarding current vendors and plan designs that must be integrated with the new vendor's services. No specific award values or budget ranges are disclosed in the available procurement materials. Vendors selected through this qualification process will be positioned for future contract awards based on their demonstrated capabilities and qualifications rather than through this initial eRFQC process.
