About this opportunity

The University of North Texas (UNT) System has issued a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposal (RFCSP) for the UNT DATCU Stadium Chairback Seating project in Denton County and Denton City, Texas. This project contains two scopes of work: the first is to remove existing aluminum bleachers in specific sections and install new chairback seats, and the second is to remove seating in specific sections to create a standing room only experience. Responses to the RFCSP are due by March 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., and a pre-proposal conference is scheduled for February 22, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The evaluation criteria for this proposal include the proposed agreement amount, qualifications and experience of the proposer's key personnel and subcontractors, the proposer's current workload and availability, quality of references, proposed project schedule, responsibility and reputation of the proposer, safety record, and financial resources.

A Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Subcontracting Plan is required and must demonstrate a good faith effort to meet the state's HUB goals. Assistance with completing the HUB Subcontracting Plan is available from the UNT System HUB Area. The RFCSP does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding requirements and sources, or other salient financial information.
