About this opportunity
The New York Racing Association (NYRA) is seeking a trucking services contract for stone product transportation between Saratoga County and two major racetracks: Belmont Park in Elmont and Aqueduct Racetrack in Jamaica. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) solicits pricing for round-trip trucking services, involving stone product transport from Saratoga County to the racetracks and return load trucking back to Saratoga County. The procurement opportunity is specifically targeting trucking vendors capable of executing these transportation services. The contract term will span from the date of execution through December 31, 2028. Proposals must be submitted by November 4, 2025, at 5 PM to the Senior Director of Procurement located at 110-00 Rockaway Blvd, Suite 1, Ozone Park, NY 11417. Bidders can submit proposals electronically through the Empire State Purchasing Group website (https://www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/nyra) or manually at the specified address. The procurement specifically covers Queens County, with a FIPS Code of 36081, and requires vendors to download complete details and specifications from the designated purchasing website.
While the solicitation does not explicitly outline specific set-aside designations or enterprise restrictions, the procurement appears open to qualified trucking service providers. No incumbent vendors are mentioned in the documentation, and no specific infrastructure integration requirements are detailed. The RFQ does not provide explicit award values or specific budget ranges for the trucking services. The procurement process emphasizes vendor responsibility for timely bid submission and compliance with specified requirements. Potential bidders should carefully review the complete specifications available on the Empire State Purchasing Group website to ensure full understanding of the contract's scope and requirements. The contract's multi-year duration (through December 31, 2028) suggests a significant opportunity for the selected vendor to establish a sustained business relationship with NYRA for stone product transportation services across these New York racetracks.
