About this opportunity

The Department of Health in the state of Florida is renewing its subscription to the Training-Finder Real-time Affiliate Integrated Network (TRAIN) Learning Network, which is a learning management system that is required to meet the uniform, non-programmatic training requirements for all DOH employees as outlined in DOHP180-1-06. The Division of Administration, Bureau of Personnel and Human Resource Management is requesting authorization to purchase the annual TRAIN subscription from the sole provider, Public Health Foundation, for an estimated dollar amount of $42,500.00 with a term of 1 year. The justification for the single-source acquisition is that Public Health Foundation is the sole owner and provider of the TRAIN Learning Network, database, and web architecture, and it is in the Department of Health's best interest to purchase the upgrades, modifications, enhancements, and maintenance from the sole source to maintain continuity of operations and mandatory employee trainings. The contract opportunity covers the Leon County and Tallahassee City jurisdictions.

This is a sole-source procurement, as Public Health Foundation is the only provider of the TRAIN Learning Network. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond. The current incumbent vendor is Public Health Foundation, and the Department of Health is seeking to continue its existing integration with the TRAIN platform. The estimated value of the annual subscription is $42,500.00.
