The City of Lawrenceville, Georgia is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for wrecker services on a multi-year contract for the removal of wrecked, disabled, abandoned, or impounded vehicles, with bids due June 11, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time.
Services encompass light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty towing within Lawrenceville city limits. Contractors must maintain comprehensive insurance with statutory workers' compensation, commercial general liability of $1 million per occurrence, auto liability of $500,000 per occurrence, and $1 million umbrella liability; all policies must be rated A-5 or higher by A.M. Best.
The contract term is an initial one year with four optional one-year renewal periods at the City's discretion. Pricing must remain firm for the duration of the initial contract term; failure to maintain firm pricing renders the bid non-responsive.
Bidders must submit one unbound original and one copy, including a completed Bidding Form and Contractor Affidavit, to the Lawrenceville Finance Department, 70 S. Clayton Street, Room M46A.
