About this opportunity

The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) has issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB) / Request for Quote (RFQ) for Pavement Preservation and Maintenance Services, specifically focused on the I20 access at Hillandale (Project Number T32-D7-PavePres-I20). This procurement is being conducted under Georgia statutory authority for road construction and maintenance services, with the solicitation posted on January 14, 2026, and bids due by February 3, 2026. Only contractors prequalified with a Master Services Agreement (MSA) beginning with 48400-410-0000034480 are eligible to participate in this competitive bidding process. The procurement seeks qualified contractors to provide comprehensive pavement preservation and maintenance services, with GDOT reserving the right to modify existing provisions, reject any or all bids, and waive technical irregularities at its discretion. Potential bidders are advised to thoroughly review the entire ITB/RFQ documentation and carefully follow all provided instructions.

The contract opportunity appears to have strict participation requirements, with only prequalified contractors allowed to submit bids under specific MSA agreements. While the documentation does not explicitly outline set-aside designations or specify disadvantaged enterprise provisions, it does indicate a structured prequalification process that may inherently limit participant pool. No specific budget range or award value was explicitly stated in the provided documentation. The procurement is governed by references to specific Georgia Code sections (O.C.G.A 32-1-3 and 32-2-61), which suggest a structured, legally compliant procurement process. GDOT maintains significant discretionary power in this procurement, including the ability to reject submissions and modify contract terms. Interested contractors must have existing relationships with GDOT through the specified MSA agreement to be considered eligible for this pavement preservation and maintenance services contract.
