Swimming Pool Chemicals

Frederick County Parks and Recreation Department is seeking quotations for swimming pool chemicals through an Invitation for Quotations (IFQ) process covering 170 buckets of 68% calcium hypochlorite briquettes (Pulsar product #30170 in 50-pound buckets). The procurement opportunity is associated with the state of Virginia and jurisdictions of Fauquier County and Sugarland Run CDP. Vendors must deliver 85 buckets to each of two specified locations, with deliveries accepted Monday through Friday between 8 am and 3:30 pm. Quotations must be received by 5:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, with submissions accepted through the eVA procurement system or direct submission to the County. The County reserves the right to waive informalities and accept or reject any or all quotations. Vendors are required to submit pricing on a lump-sum basis, with all additional service fees included in the quoted price, and must comply with the attached County terms and conditions.

No specific set-aside designations or restrictions for disadvantaged enterprises were explicitly outlined in the documentation. The procurement does not indicate any incumbent vendors or require integration with existing infrastructure or technology. While no specific budget range was provided, the total quantity of 170 buckets suggests a moderate-sized procurement opportunity. The County demonstrates a preference for credit card payment and will not accept additional charges beyond the submitted quote. Vendors interested in this opportunity should carefully review the attached County terms and conditions to ensure full compliance with procurement requirements and to understand the complete scope of the swimming pool chemical supply contract.
