About this opportunity

DFW Airport is soliciting bids for an annual supply contract for pre-mixed and volumetric concrete, with proposals due December 1, 2026. The Airport seeks a primary supplier that is an authorized manufacturer of the products offered, not a subcontractor, which is the principal eligibility filter. Listed jurisdictions are Dallas County and Dallas City, Texas.

Scope covers 16 concrete product lines: Class A (3000 PSI), Class C (4000 and 5000 PSI), Class K (3000 PSI in 6 hours), Class HES (3000 PSI in 6 hours, including a cold-temperature variant), and Class 0 (300–400 PSI), each available by pre-mixed or volumetric truck delivery. Orders must deliver within 24 hours unless otherwise agreed, and service runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Concrete outside the airfield must comply with TxDOT Standard Specifications Item 360; concrete on the airfield must comply with FAA Advisory Circular 150/5370-10H Part 7. The contractor must provide quarterly purchase-history reporting and appoint an account representative at no additional charge.

The contract term is five years. The Airport reserves the right to adjust volumes to operational requirements and does not guarantee minimum purchase quantities. Pricing is quoted per cubic yard and must include transportation, fuel surcharges, freight, supervision, labor, overhead, and profit. Unit prices cannot increase during the first contract year; adjustment provisions for renewal periods are referenced in the Special Provisions. Miscellaneous charges include delivery fees for loads under and of 4 cubic yards or larger, standing time beyond 30 minutes per cubic yard, evening and weekend callout fees with a 3-hour minimum, cancellation charges, and show-up fees. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Destination, Freight Prepaid and Allowed. Products carry a warranty against manufacturing defects for twelve months beyond delivery and acceptance or the period customarily extended to governmental organizations, whichever is greater.
