About this opportunity
The Early Learning Coalition of Hillsborough County (ELCHC) in Florida is seeking to contract with one or more organizations or independent contractors to provide street level child literacy focus groups from April 17, 2024 to June 30, 2024. The selected contractor(s) will be responsible for forming and executing street teams to interview voluntary participants about their barriers to reading to their children, capturing the data, and providing summary reports to the ELCHC. Proposals must be submitted by 5:00 pm EST on April 16, 2024, and the ELCHC expects to make a decision on the selection in April 2024. The ELCHC is looking for responders with prior experience engaging parents in surveys and focus groups, as well as client references, cost/value, and certification as a minority-owned business.
The ELCHC encourages participation from woman, minority, and/or service-disabled veteran owned businesses for this project, which will be funded 100% from federal funds. The total budget for this project is not to exceed $34,000. The ELCHC does not list any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and the scope of work does not indicate any existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration.
