About this opportunity

St. Charles Parish Government is soliciting proposals under RFP No. 2026-RFP-001 (project P260901) for storm debris removal and recovery, with a mandatory pre-proposal conference on November 3, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. and proposals due November 13, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. local time. The opportunity record lists St. Bernard Parish (FIPS 22087) as jurisdiction, but the attached advertisement identifies St. Charles Parish as the issuer. Proposals must be submitted electronically through www.centralbidding.com as a single scanned PDF. Mailed or hand-delivered proposals are not accepted, and the parish has not accepted physical bid submissions since June 1, 2026.

The solicitation encourages participation from small and minority-owned firms and women's business enterprises. This is an encouragement, not a set-aside or preference. The scope covers all of St. Charles Parish and includes emergency road clearance, collection and removal of vegetative, construction and demolition, household hazardous, and white-goods debris, operation of debris management sites with volume reduction, hazardous tree mitigation, hauling to permitted final disposal facilities, and documentation that maximizes federal reimbursement under FEMA Public Assistance regulations.

The advertisement does not state contract value, duration, or renewal options. Complete RFP documents are available at www.centralauctionhouse.com, where surety bond requirements, if mandated, are also submitted at www.centralauctionhouse.com/central-bidding/bid-bonds. The parish reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
