About this opportunity

The City of Philadelphia is requesting quotes on storage boxes under a small order purchase, with quotes due October 29, 2026. Award will be made as a whole or by line item, whichever is in the City's best interest, to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; sellers must quote all items to remain eligible for award consideration.

The estimated contract value is $43,000, adjusted annually by the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers from January 1, 2020, forward and rounded to the nearest thousand dollars. The contract term is 365 days from the effective date, commencing upon issuance of a purchase order. Delivery is required FOB Destination Point. Prices must remain valid for 60 days from submission or throughout the contract term for requirements contracts. The Local Business Entity Program does not apply to this small order purchase.

Sellers must submit quotes electronically through PHLContracts and must execute and submit a Consent & Authorization Agreement prior to bid closing; quotes without this executed agreement on file will not be considered responsive. The agreement may be uploaded to the vendor's profile at registration or included with the first submitted quote and does not require resubmission for subsequent bids. Sellers must also answer the LBE certification question to proceed, though the LBE Program itself does not apply. Submission of an LGBTQ Applicant Opportunity Data Form is optional.

Sellers must maintain workers' compensation insurance at statutory limits, general liability insurance with minimum limits of $500,000 per occurrence, and automobile liability insurance with minimum limits of $300,000 per occurrence. All prices must be quoted net and exclusive of taxes. Sellers must certify they are not indebted to the City for delinquent taxes, liens, judgments, or fees, and must comply with all applicable laws, executive orders, nondiscrimination requirements, and City ethics requirements. Questions may be directed to PHLContracts@phila.gov or 215-686-4755, 215-686-4720, or 215-686-4721.
