About this opportunity
SSA - Pulling Power and Establishing New Pole for Air Monitoring
The State of Idaho is soliciting a contractor for a specialized procurement involving the pulling of power and establishment of a new pole for air monitoring purposes. While the government description references a "Height Adjustable Reclining Bath Tub," this appears to be a data entry error, as the primary project title and objectives clearly indicate the work involves electrical infrastructure and air quality monitoring equipment installation. The deliverables include the physical installation of a new pole structure capable of supporting air monitoring equipment, with associated power infrastructure work. The procurement requires contractors to possess relevant qualifications in electrical utility work, pole installation, and air monitoring equipment deployment. The solicitation was posted on April 6, 2026, with a proposal due date of April 9, 2026, allowing potential bidders a three-day window to submit responses.
The solicitation documentation does not explicitly identify set-aside designations, restrictions on eligible bidders, disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) requirements, incumbent vendors, or specific award values and budget ranges. Interested contractors should contact the State of Idaho directly to clarify the discrepancy between the stated project title and government description, and to obtain complete solicitation requirements, evaluation criteria, technical specifications, and any applicable small business or minority enterprise preferences. Additional information regarding the scope of work, site location for the air monitoring installation, and detailed qualification requirements should be requested prior to the April 9, 2026 deadline to ensure adequate proposal preparation time.
